The field of composite materials has attracted a wealth of research, with significant interest in the areas of damage, fatigue and failure. Janis Varna is a professor in the Department of Engineering Sciences and Mathematics at Lulei University of Technology, Sweden. Professor Varna's research focuses on polymeric composite materials.
