Out of frustration at the constant red tape and frequent botched arrests, a group of police have formed their own small, secret army - a clandestine force methodically killing those people the law cannot reach. It's scaring the hell out of the underworld - and the White House. Secret organisation CURE is called in to eliminate this group before it becomes too powerful, but almost immediately there is a problem.
Because Remo Williams, CURE's superweapon, is a former cop. He refuses to kill cops. Especially cops doing the same thing he does .
