En partant d'une intrigue somme toute "banale", Toni Morisson nous surprend et s'amuse à nous mettre face à nos préjugés.
C'est une expérience de lecture unique et très plaisante, parce qu'on se pose des tas de questions pendant notre lecture et on analyse chaque phrase, comme si on décortiquait une crevette.
