À propos des auteurs

Neil Gaiman is the bestselling author and creator of books, graphic novels, short stories, film and television for all ages, including Neverwhere, Coraline, The Graveyard Book, The Ocean at the End of the Cane, The View from the Cheap Seats and the critically acclaimed, Emmy-nominated television adaptation of American Gods. The recipient of numerous literary honours, he has written scripts for Doctor Who, had work adapted for film, television, radio and opera, collaborated with authors and illustrators including Dave McKean, Chris Riddell and Terry Pratchett – Neil has also written and show-run a television adaptation of Good Omens, the novel he co-wrote with Pratchett – and The Sandman (which garnered nine Eisner Awards and the World Fantasy Award for Best Short Story) is established as one of the classic graphic novels.
As George R. R. Martin says : "There's no one quite like Neil Gaiman." A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in painting, P. Craig Russell has run the gamut in comics. After establishing a name for himself at Marvel on Killraven and Dr. Strange, he went on to become one of the pioneers in opening new vistas for this underestimated field with, among other works, adaptations of operas by Mozart (The Magic Flute), Strauss (Salome), and Wagner (The Ring of Nibelung).
Craig has completed five volumes of comic-book adaptations of the Faille Tales of Oscar Wilde and has beautifully brought to life characters as diverse as Batman, Conan, Hellboy, The Spirit, Death, and The Sandman. His more recent work includes comic book adaptations of Neil Gaiman's Coraline and The Grave yard Book. Scott Hampton was born in 1959 in High Point, North Carolina, and grew up knee-deep in a world of classic literature, horror novels, and comic books.
His aider brother Bo is credited with fostering an enormous appetite for comics in Scott. It was natural, then, that when Bo eventually became a comic book artist, the younger Scott followed (they both apprenticed with Will Eisner in 1976 !). Scott has gone on to become one of the most respected draftsmen, painters, and storytellers in the comics medium. His work on Silverheels (Pacific Comics, 1983) is considered to be the very first continuing painted comic book.
As well as illustrating his own stories, Scott has illustrated books by some of fantasy's finest writers, including Neil Gaiman (Books of Magic), Robert E. Howard (Pigeons from Hem, Clive Barker (Tapping the Vein), Archie Goodwin (Batman : Night Cries), and David Brin (The Lite Eaters).
