KARL NEWSON is an award-winning children's book author. He grew up in Norwich, Norfolk, and was inspired to write his first story when his children were small. Karl has been shortlisted for the Sainsbury's Children's Book award, among others, and his stories are published in over 21 languages around the world. He lives in London with his family and a forest of pot plants. ROSS COLLINS studied illustration at the Glasgow School of Art.
Since then, he has gone on to illustrate more than 100 books, published in over 20 languages. Known for his distinctive, humorous style, Ross has won multiple awards, including the prestigious Amnesty CILIP Honour and the UKLA Award. He's also been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal and the Blue Peter Book Award, to name a few. Ross lives in Glasgow with his family and a stupid dog called Hugo.
