The movie Shakespeare in Love, written by Mark Norman and Tom Stoppard, is a romantic comedy set in 1593. The protagonist is the young Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes), who is wrestling with writer's block as he works on a new play. Only when he meets a beautiful, aspiring actress (Gwyneth Paltrow), and falls in love, is Shakespeare's creativity unleashed once more - and he is inspired to write Romeo and Juliet ...
