About The Author Pedro Fernández Fanjul My name is Pedro Fernández, the author of the Podcast Spanish for Beginners Pedro. I have been teaching Spanish and Latin for 30 years. I was born in Asturias, Spain. I studied Classical Languages and Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. After teaching several years in Spain, in 1999 I moved to the USA. I taught there Spanish and Latin. In 2014 I moved to Austria where I have my own teaching company.I am convinced that every person can learn and be fluent in a foreign language. It takes some effort, but the reward is simply huge.
