When Kyle meets the blue-haired boy, Max, during his beach holiday during a beach party, they share a sudden kiss during the New Year's fireworks. Back in school for the next semester, Kyle puts the kiss and the boy in the past, ready to move on and get back to being the guy everyone knows him to be. But when the new kid in class ends up being that same blue-haired boy, he has no choice but to swear him to silence out of fear of coming out.
At least they can be friends, both decide. But the more time Kyle and Max spend with each other, the more that initial spark grows until they can no longer deny the fireworks between them.
