Résumé

Anxiety is more often than not a normal emotion experienced in the range of everyday responses to one's life. It may even be the appropriate and sane response to the craziness going on around us. Or, it could be caused by things you wouldn't expect. This article distinguishes 3 types of normal anxiety and some alternative causes for feeling anxious. But, if you are organizing your life around your anxiety, avoiding situations or people in ways that limit your opportunities or enjoyment, or the full expression of who you are, your anxiety could be in this "beyond the range of normal" category.
