Résumé

A beautiful young woman is accused of an unspeakable crime that seems completely out of step with her sweet personality. As she tells her life story to her attorney, the book delves into the psyche and past of a young girl with a cold mother, an absent father, a twin sister with whom she shared an unbreakable bond, and a horrific family secret that leads to tragedy. But beyond the wounds of the past and the pain of the present, the book ultimately emerges as a poignant love story between two inseparable little girls.

À propos des auteurs

Sylvie Roge was born in Uccle, Belgium. After spending more than 25 years in the medical profession, she decided to devote herself entirely to her passion for writing. She published her first graphic novel, "La Fée Assassine" (Editions du Lombard/Europe Comics, 2021) followed by "Sur les traces de Max, " published by Editions Lamiroy, and a collection of very short stories entitled "Close Up, " published by Le Livre en papier.
The themes she enjoys exploring in her work include family ties, the body/mind connection, character-driven psychology, and the general complexity of human relations. She has a knack for opening large gulfs made by the winds of time... Olivier Grenson was born in 1962 in Charleroi, Belgium. Thanks to the adventures of Lucky Luke and Tintin, he has known since the age of 10 he would become a comics artist.
Grenson studied graphic design and animation for four years at the ERG (the School of Graphic Research) of Brussels while starting to create his own series. Between 1984 and 1987, for "Tintin" magazine, he published the series "Aldose & Glucose" as well as his first realistic stories based on Jeanine and Renée Rahir's scripts. In 1989, with the scriptwriter Michel Oleffe, he started working on "Le Golem, " which achieved an unexpected success.
After that, Olivier created several other books including "Tunnel, " "Les Mystères du Loch Ness, " and "Détective de l'impossible, " but also worked on some television projects. In 1998, Olivier Grenson worked in collaboration with Jean Dufaux on the series "Niklos Koda." He also had the opportunity to work with legendary scriptwriter Jean Van Hamme on the thirteenth and final volume of the series "XIII Mystery" (Dargaud; Europe Comics/Cinebook in English).
