Résumé

Lily is a 7-year-old girl with autism. She loves reading books in a dark attic room. She reads books on a cozy bed with a small lantern and a thick blanket. In Lily's attic, time stands still, allowing her to read books to her heart's content. Lily finds great joy in this. After finishing a story, she opens the attic window and listens to the stories that she can hear from outside. She writes down those stories on paper or folds them into paper airplanes to send them into the sky. One day, Lily realizes that the stories she hears from outside sound like another girl her age reading a book.
The voice sounds similar to her own. Curious, Lily starts writing down the stories she hears from outside on the attic wall and notices that the empty spaces form the shape of the letters "Christine." Lily realizes that Christine is the name of the voice that tells her stories. She wants to let Christine know about this discovery, but she feels afraid of leaving through the window. After much thought, Lily remembers a time when she wrote a message on a paper airplane and sent it outside.
This time, Lily starts writing down everything she knows on the paper airplanes and sends them out. Christine is a 17-year-old girl who didn't have a home and wandered the world without knowing her own name. One day, Christine discovers a beautiful garden in a grand castle and spends time there. Finding a paper airplane that came from somewhere, Christine unfolds it and discovers that it is filled with interesting content.
She repeatedly reads the paper aloud. Suddenly, Christine becomes curious about where the paper airplanes come from and starts her journey to find that place for the first time. Christine is curious about who is sending the paper airplanes flying to the top of the castle. She gathers all the paper airplanes in one place and notices that they come in different sizes and have torn parts. She starts drawing the torn parts of the paper airplanes to see what they form.
As Christine draws the torn parts, she realizes that they represent the letters spelling out "Lily." Christine discovers that the owner of the paper airplanes is named Lily. In that moment, a new paper airplane flies in, and Christine reads the words written on it. It is the moment she discovers her own name for the first time. Grateful, Christine writes Lily's name in big letters in the garden, so Lily can see it. Through the window, Lily is able to let Christine know of her existence.
And she discovers her own name that she didn't know before. Lily writes a letter expressing her love for the stories she hears, her love for books, and her gratitude to Christine. Lily imagines Christine receiving and reading the letter, bringing her joy. Now, the two girls can share their stories and explore the world of books together. And the writings that Lily has written on the paper airplanes will now be published in Euclid View.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Christine Eve

The books writing at Euclid View include 9 series written from Christine Eve's perspective on mathematics, science, philosophy, astronomy, medicine, psychology, literature, linguistics, and physics. There are also three creative series called Time end diversity, Time Line, and Time Houl. I would love to meet each chapter as a standalone book as soon as possible!
