This is a new contribution derived from the research project on anthropic crises. This fourth book is part of the documentation of the research efforts to generate a systematic approach that the authors have faced, in the face of the theoretical and practical challenges related to crisis management from professional and academic fields, including specific aspects regarding how to understand and apply knowledge about crises. We analyze the challenges that crises pose to administrators with a special focus on those social and cultural aspects that condition the ways of thinking and deciding of the main agents involved.
We try to go to the essence of what it means to do things well, within the framework of the crises that interest us most. This led us to value the ethical aspects that serve as guidance in the development of certain processes, which at some point can be classified as crises. This is a brief summary of our work in order to appreciate what we have been able to learn from the general state of the art and the study of specific cases, focusing on the instances in which crises occur with the purpose of contributing to analyzing forms of act as diligently as possible on them.
On this basis, we will not go into conceptual or applied details regarding crises, which are available in the other three books derived from our research.
