Starting with her debut book, Lara's mission is to change the status quo from one where sexual health is shameful and covert to a reality where we can talk openly about herpes, when it's appropriate, to the people we trust.

When not writing smut and humour, Lara likes to walk her puppy, cuddle her teenager who's rapidly growing out of public affection, cook meals that are reasonably nourishing, dance in her living room and sit in the sun until idleness gets the better of her.
