She moved to Yorkshire with her young family but after nearly 30 years living in a farmhouse on the Pennines, she has now moved to live by the sea in Scotland. Sarah is an award-winning novelist with more than twenty books published by Harlequin Historical . She loves to hear from readers and you can reach her via her website at: www.sarahmallory.com After years in marketing, Blythe Gifford started writing seriously after a layoff.
Ten years and one layoff later, she sold to the Harlequin Historical line. Set in England and Scotland of the 14th to 16th centuries, her books usually include real historical events and characters. The Chicago Tribune called her work "the perfect balance between history and romance." Blythe lives in Chicago and welcomes visitors to www.blythegifford.com and www.facebook.com/BlytheGifford Louise Allen has been immersing herself in history for as long as she can remember, finding landscapes and places evoke powerful images of the past.
Venice, Burgundy & the Greek islands are favourites. Louise lives on the Norfolk coast & spends her spare time gardening, researching family history or travelling. Please visit Louise's website, www.louiseallenregency.com, her blog https://janeaustenslondon or find her on Twitter @LouiseRegency and on Facebook. Helen Dickson lives in South Yorkshire with her retired farm manager husband. On leaving school she entered the nursing profession, which she left to bring up a young family.
Having moved out of the chaotic farmhouse, she has more time to indulge in her favourite pastimes. She enjoys being outdoors, travelling, reading and music. An incurable romantic, she writes for pleasure. It was a love of history that drove her to writing historical romantic fiction. Georgette Heyer novels formed Sophia James's reading tastes as a teenager. But her writing life only started when she was given a pile of Mills & Boons to read after she had had her wisdom teeth extracted! Filled with strong painkillers she imagined that she could pen one, too.
Many drafts later Sophia thinks she has the perfect job writing for Harlequin Historical as well as taking art tours to Europe with her husband, who is a painter. Diane Gaston's dream job had always been to write romance novels. One day she dared to pursue that dream and has never looked back. Her books have won Romance's highest honours: the RITA Award, the National Readers Choice Award, Holt Medallion, and Golden Heart.
She lives in Virginia with her husband and three very ordinary house cats. Diane loves to hear from readers and friends. Visit her website at: https://www.dianegaston.com/ Janice Preston writes sensual, emotional and heartwarming historical romance. Although all her novels are standalone reads, she loves to write stories set in the same Regency world, and many of her books include book-hopping characters.
When Janice isn't writing she enjoys reading, pottering in the garden when the sun is shining, and travelling when she can. She fuels her imagination with endless cups of coffee, is far too keen on unhealthy food, and is an expert procrastinator. Margaret McPhee trained as a scientist, but was always a romantic at heart. She wrote two manuscripts and suffered numerous rejections from publishers and agents before joining the Romantic Novelists Association.
A further two manuscripts later and with help from RNAs new writers' scheme, her first regency romance was born. Margaret enjoys cycling, tea and cakes and loves exploring the beautiful scenery and wildlife of the islands of Scotland with her husband. Carole Mortimer was born in England, the youngest of three children. She began writing in 1978, and has now written over one hundred and seventy books for Harlequin Mills and Boon®.
Carole has six sons, Matthew, Joshua, Timothy, Michael, David and Peter. She says, 'I'm happily married to Peter senior; we're best friends as well as lovers, which is probably the best recipe for a successful relationship. We live in a lovely part of England.' Ann Lethbridge majored in history and business. She always loved the glamorous, if rather risky, Georgians and in particular the Regency era as drawn by Georgette Heyer.
It was that love that prompted her to write her first Regency novel in 2000. She found she enjoyed it so much she just couldn't stop! Ann gave up a career in university administration to focus on her first love, writing novels and lives in Canada with her family. Visit her website at: www.annlethbridge.com Denise Lynn has traveled to times and places filled with brave knights, courageous ladies and never-ending love between the pages of romance novels.
When not writing medieval romances she's likely working on a paranormal story with dragons, wizards and other assorted praeternatural beings - some set on the same fictitious islands created for her medievals. Visit her at: www.denise-lynn.com or on Facebook: DeniseLynnBooks
