Résumé

Ever wondered what those shop mannequins get up to when the lights go out and the doors are bolted? Do they just stand there like a bunch of bored statues, or do they break into a wild dance party? Could it be that they have dreams and feelings, or are they just plastic and cloth? Do they have mates and family, or do they have frenemies and rivals? In this book, we'll peek into the secret life of Mannequins.
They're not just lifeless figures, but animated citizens! Meet Dante, the dashing mannequin who dreams of breaking free from the monotonous shop life. Then there's Reyonda, the elegant mannequin who's head over heels for Dante. And don't forget Runke, the chic mannequin who's also got a crush on Dante and is ready to give Reyonda a run for her money. Rondra, the grumpy shop owner, despises the mannequins and wants to control their every move.
As the plot thickens, you'll meet Mallory, the detective mannequin, who's on a mission to protect the mannequins from Rondra's tyranny. And then there's Sharp, Jijiji, Brand, and Clampp, who form Mallory's squad, each with unique skills to crack the toughest cases. Join us as we follow their escapades, from breaking out of the shop, exploring the city, learning new skills, facing dangers, making mates, falling in love, and finding joy.
Watch them as they traverse the cityscape of Dublin, awestruck by the architectural wonders that silently narrate the city's rich history. From ancient castles that loom like giants, to majestic cathedrals that reach for the sky, and modern skyscrapers that reflect the city's progress. The mannequins marvel at Dublin's vibrant culture, its lush parks, and the serene River Liffey that flows like the city's lifeblood.
Their journey takes them to charming shops and cosy cafes, each offering a unique taste of Dublin. They savour the city's culinary delights, from mouth-watering cakes and chocolates to the comforting warmth of its exceptional coffee. They watch the city's inhabitants, each face telling its own story, each expression a window into their lives. The city's traffic, a symphony of scooters, cars, buses, and bikes, moves in a rhythm that's uniquely Dublinic.
You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cheer, you'll boo, you'll wonder, you'll marvel, as you read their story. So, buckle up, it's going to be fun joining the Nightlife of Dublin Mannequins!
