Résumé

In a dystopian future overpopulation and pollution has ravaged the Earth creating shortages of food and fresh water. In order to survive heavily armed scavengers are elected by desperate residents of massive government apartment towers hundreds of stories high to gather supplies. The scavengers must traverse a dangerous countryside putting their own lives at risk on every mission. One such scavenger, Tey Wilks, has discovered a secret government warehouse containing a treasure trove of supplies.
In order to get at the supplies Tey must avoid marauder gangs bent on capturing him and turning him over to the government for rumoured experimentation. And he must also compete with fellow scavengers to reach the desperately needed supplies. These high-risk missions are the only hope for survival in a dark, uncertain future.
