Her first March Madness. In fact, it was her first live basketball game. The elderly man who had invited her wasn't her ideal date. She accepted anyone. She had promised herself that she would get out more. This was an opportunity to honor her agreement with herself. The old man turned out to be a fun date. He wasn't so bad. He managed to keep his hands to himself for most of the evening. However, the night did not go without a bump in the road.
At the games, she ran into the one man who taunted her the most during her early transition period. It was traumatizing to see him again. Her payback could only be labeled "satisfying, " even if she had to go through the whole team to get it.
