She has no idea who she's letting into her life. Vivienne lives on her own in the coastal town of Hastings. Her husband died not long ago and she's adjusting to a life without the mental abuse he subjected her to on a daily basis. One day, a stranger saves Vivienne from a bag snatcher. Grateful, she invites the young woman into her home. It is her first mistake. Claire is charming but lonely. Despite the forty years between them, the two women soon become firm friends. But, unknown to Vivienne, Claire has an agenda and will stop at nothing to right a historic wrong.
