This level of intermediate III encompasses the past tense of the remainder of the active binyanim (verb structures) and their subgroups. You will be introduced to the future tense via learning how to command a 'do' and a 'do not'. By the time you will be embarking on studying the future tense you will already be ahead of the game. You will gradually learn how to conjugate the possession 'had' (a rather complex syntax); noun constructs -- smichut (you will have a blast with this one); numbers in the male form; telling time and dates and how to form adjectives from nouns.
This level contains many phrases, idioms, expressions, slang and words so unique to Hebrew that they call for special attention. This book is loaded with exercises (with answers), dialogues and short stories. Every new concept is explained thoroughly and at a pace that anybody can understand. At this level of Intermediate III, you will have the pleasure of reading the instructions in Hebrew. The book contains Hebrew-English and English-Hebrew word lists and a glossary of grammar terms.
