As the riding instructor at Elmwood, he has his pick of rich older women to con into sponsoring him. It's a task which would go a lot more smoothly if that workhorse Nadine would get off his back. Nadine is counting the days until Sean finally leaves Elmwood; Sean is exasperated with Nadine's grinding work ethic.
Both have been going out of their way to avoid working with each other. So when spring brings the challenge of working together on Rosemary Beckett's sales horse, they're surprised to find they aren't the worst of colleagues, after all .
