Résumé

Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 If your main reason for becoming a runner is how it makes you feel, rather than how it makes you look, you'll be much more likely to stick with it. Focus on how running can make you feel, and the body benefits will come. #2 There are three parts to visualization: visualizing your goal as if it were easy for you to get out there and enjoy the run the way you want to, after the momentum kicks in and you feel good; how good it feels after your run; and how your clothes will fit differently after you start running. #3 The runner's high makes you feel good, and getting addicted to that feeling will make you want to keep doing it.
Things that feel good become addictive. #4 The runner's high only lasts for a short period of time. You must be running for at least thirty minutes before you get it. Be patient and keep going.
