One can choose to appreciate their partners' positive attributes, accept them for who they are, and be a helpful collaborator.
One can also decide to quit loving someone, walk away from them, and forget their existence. It is impossible to choose to be in love. It's something that can develop without human knowledge or consent, and people can't get away from the harsh realities. People will sense the emotion of being in love if they take things from the right perspective.
