À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Trish Simonson

Trish was born in Arizona but moved to Wyoming when she was 7 years old. Trish married her high school sweetheart and together they had 3 children. Tragedy struck her family in 2015 when her youngest child, Kaden, took his life at the age of 15. After their son's death the Simonson's decided to get involved with suicide prevention and awareness in their community. They spent the first 5 years after Kaden's suicide speaking to anyone that would listen.
The Simonson's started a student advocacy group, became members of the local suicide prevention coalition, started an annual 5k walk/run for scholarships and helped raise funds for the local suicide coalition through several fund raisers. After 5 years Trish needed to step back from suicide prevention to take care of her own mental health. As a little girl she always imagined being an author but never thought her first book would be about losing her own child to suicide.
After 6 very difficult years she was finally able to put it all in writing. This is a no holds barred book about how suicide affected her and how she was able to come back from the depths of PTSD, anxiety and depression to once again find her joy, purpose and her faith. Trish still resides in Wyoming with her husband Mike and two dogs Boone and Axel. Trish can be found on Facebook at live42morrow or you can contact her directly at trishsimonson71@gmail.com.
