Résumé

Better half a century late than never. The children's book my Grandpa wrote in the early 1970s and firmly intended to publish, but for various reasons never did. Having brought out my own first book this year (which is of course far simpler and easier than it would have been back then), it seemed fitting to bring his work to completion. With the help of a hand-typed anotated final draft, and two specially comissioned illustrations, the story needed very little extra work.
It's all about a tree that decided to walk and the adventures it had. I guess it was intended to be read aloud to kids aged maybe four to five, which is just what I did with it for my own kids some years ago.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Thomas Booth Waddicor

Born in 1905 he would now be approximately the world's second oldest person if he were alive today to see this book published. He worked in inteligence during the war, followed by a successful career in advertising before retiring to tend his garden and do other intersting thigs, like writing this story.
