Some of the heroes/heroines may spend time elsewhere (e.g. in This Time for Keeps, Isabelle and Luca visit Amalfi--a town in southern Italy that Luca calls "heaven on earth"); Philadelphia, however, remains central to the story.3.
Happy ending. Angst may be all well and good, but for me, it's the happily-ever-after that makes a love story worth reading.
