This is a "speculative" exploratory study of human development options towards the options called "transhumanism" and "posthumanism", which are two new concepts that arise in the context of a "technological singularity", which raise different visions about the future of humanity. Some of these futures are utopians and others are dystopian. We must build the best future for all de humanity. The proposal of a transhuman future aligns with the idea that humanity can achieve a satisfactory posthuman state, where human capabilities are dramatically amplified and improved, potentially leading to a new phase of human evolution.
Posthumanism explores the idea that human identity and human consciousness of existence can transcend biological limitations. In this work we explore in conceptual and operational terms what we understand as a "technological singularity", also called simply "singularity".
