Résumé

Accompanied by Zarak, a mischievous familiar who doubles as a deadly weapon in battle, Vesper sets a course for Valestiel, where Prince Crimson Nyx is thought to be imprisoned. She knows she cannot free him by herself, however, so she decides to call upon the help of her former companions, the Knights of Nyx. But she will have some convincing to do, given the steep losses the Knights have already incurred.
Beyond that, a crucial question remains: is Crimson even still alive? And if so, in what state? More than their own lives will be at stake when Vesper discovers the truth, as she is moved in her desperation to an act of folly...

À propos des auteurs

Jérémy was born in 1984 and currently lives in Belgium. He started his career at the age of 17 as a colorist for the series "Murena" (Dargaud, Europe Comics in English) alongside Philippe Delaby. While working on this series and on "La Complainte des landes perdues" (Dargaud; "Lament of the Lost Moors, " Cinebook), he found time to co-create his own series, "Barracuda" (Dargaud, Cinebook in English), this time about pirates, with a script by Jean Dufaux.
When his teacher and role model Philippe Delaby passed away, Jérémy agreed to complete his unfinished pages for the latest volume of "La Complainte des landes perdues." After finishing the six-volume "Barracuda" series, he began work on "Les Chevaliers d'Héliopolis" (Glénat), with a script by Alejandro Jodorowsky. In 2018, Jérémy published his first work as a scriptwriter, "Layla" (Dargaud, Europe Comics in English), illustrated by the young and talented artist Mika.
In 2021, he completed work on one of his most ambitious projects yet, the fantasy adventure series "Vesper" (Dargaud, Europe Comics in English), which he wrote and illustrated.
