Résumé

This book contains a vivid description of an adventurous roundtrip cruise aboard the 100-year-old Zodiac schooner from Bellingham, Washington state (USA) to Desolation Sound in British Columbia. Come along with Jim Hendrickson, a well-traveled author of twenty travel adventure books. First, he describes the original indigenous First Nations people in the Sound, followed by a well-researched description of its European explorers, early settlers, draft dodgers and hippie communes.
Next, the author describes his personal day-to-day experiences and activities of this eleven-day voyage.
