Résumé

This Book: What It Means Beyond 2012Cycles of Changedaily life and lose track of time. One example is going to a localgrocery store to buy something that used to be readilyavailable. However, due to various factors, such as supply chaindisruptions and sudden changes in demand, the shelves maynow be empty, and finding what you need can take time andeffort. Similarly, buying a new car was simple - go to a dealerand choose from various options.
But now, with the increasingcomplexity of car models and the rise of online sales, it hasbecome more complicated. When it comes to healthcare, we rely on doctors to prescribemedication that can cure ailments. However, in some cases, medication may have side effects that can harm our bodies. Intoday's world, where pandemics and health emergencies areon the rise, there is talk of a vaccine that could be mandatoryand required to keep your job.
This has led to debates aboutindividual freedom and public health, raising questions aboutwhat caused this shift and when it happened. The Mayan Calendar has three calendars: the Long Count, theTzolkin, and the Haab. Each calendar is cyclical, meaning aspecific number of days must pass before a new cycle begins. The Mayan Calendar represents time cycles, and each cycle hasended with devastating consequences.
These cycles willcontinue, one after another, and intertwine. Every 26, 000years, humanity "may" get another chance to make thingsright. Until we do, or until we stop trying altogether, we willcontinue to face the consequences of our actions. Greed is a learned behavior and not innate, as many peoplebelieve. "Survival of the fittest" is not genetic, but it is learned. Climate change is one of the most pressing issues thatiihumanity faces today.
Human activities have significantlycontributed to changes in the Earth's weather patterns andtemperatures, and we are all responsible for this. To makematters worse, the pursuit of progress and control has led togreed, drug addiction, and destruction. We must takeresponsibility for our actions and make things right. On June 20th, 1837, U. S. Army officers gave Native Americansblankets infected with smallpox, and thousands died.
Today, the Mexican cartel is taking over the Blackfeet Nation withdrugs, continuing the cycle of violence and exploitation ofindigenous communities. We can no longer ignore these issuesand must take action to address them. Only when someonestands up and says, "Enough is enough, " will things begin tochange.
