Résumé

Get a head start with the most focused reference materials in print about " Active Directory " services. " Active Directory " services is the hub around which Microsoft Windows 2000 networks turn, allowing you to build solutions that simply weren't possible before the advent of the enterprise directory service. " Active directory developer's reference library " is the best single-source, reference to this exciting new enabling technology, and it comes with extensive code examples in "Microsoft Visual Basic" and "Microsoft Visual C ++ ". These programmer's guides and reference volumes fully document "Active Directory" APIs and "Active Directory Service Interfaces" (ADSI) 2*5, a set of COM interfaces used to access the capabilities of directory services from different network providers in a distributed computing environment. Administrators and developers can use ADSI to manage the resources in a directory service, no matter which network environment contains the resource. ADSI makes it much easier to perform common administrative tasks such as adding new users, managing printers, and locating resources throughout the enterprise. This well-conceived reference library condenses and intelligently organizes "Active Directory" and ADSI reference materials in one place, and includes vital information from the Microsoft Platform SDK. Each guide is thoroughly indexed to help you find what you need fast, and each can point you toward related information in Microsoft's other printed and electronic reference materials, should you need it.
