Résumé

Berlin blends the old and new in a way matched by no other modern metropolis. Nowhere else in the world do so many diverse cultures and lifestyles meet and mingle. The process of internationalization sparked by the fall of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago proceeds at a pace unmatched by any other city. Dagmar von Taube gives a face to this new Berlin, bringing together the personalities that shape the city's image.
The result is a fascinating panorama, as seen through the eyes of internationally acclaimed photographers.
