Swiss architect Hans-Jörg Ruch has gained international renown with his conversions of historic houses in the Engadin. In Close-up these contemporary interventions in farmhouses and mansions are presented as part of the entire body of work created by his office Ruch & Partners since 1994. Apartment buildings and private homes, hotels, museums and other public buildings, infrastructure designs, and entire housing developments are featured in atmospheric large-format photographs, selected plans, and concise texts.
