The Flute Concerto No. 3 from opus 10 by Antonio Vivaldi is certainly among his most popular works. 'Il Gardellino', 'The Goldfinch', is its programmatic title, and the solo flute does absolute justice to its content. The arrangement for 5 flutes makes this delightful work accessible for music school lessons as well. Professor Thalheimer has revised Peter Stöhr's arrangement on the basis of supplementary sources.
