This duo has been taken from the siginificant collection 'Les Goûts-réünis ou Nouveaux Concerts à l'usage de toutes sortes d'instruments' by François Couperin (1668-1733). Written in the typical French style of that time, richly ornamented and of moderate difficulty, this duo, which corresponds to the 13th concerto of the collection, is perfectly suited for music lessons and music-making at home.
