ANTJE-BRITT MÄHLMANN (1979) studied photography and art history in Brighton, London, and Düsseldorf, where she also completed her PhD on the late work of the artist Louise Bourgeois. She worked as a freelancer at various museums and art associations (Kunstvereine) in North Rhine-Westphalia, and she completed her assistant curatorship at Kunsthalle Emden, where she stayed on as a research fellow. Mählmann has headed the Kunsthalle St.
Annen in Lübeck since 2018, and she will take up the position as artistic director at Museum Schloss Moyland in Beburg-Hau in April 2022. NADINE BARTH (1964) is a curator and journalist. She studied philosophy, literature, and art history and for several years ran a gallery for fashion photography in Hamburg and Berlin. In 2006 she founded "barthouse culture concepts", an agency for art and communication.
She has edited over 100 publications on photography and fashion and curated numerous exhibitions at international institutions. Barth has been working as Consulting Editor for photography art books at Hatje Cantz since 2013. She lives in Berlin. EUGENIE SHINKLE (1963) is a photographer and author. She lives in London, UK. Her works have been published both in the academic and popular press - most recently in Foam Magazine, Art Journal, and Yale University Press.
She has contributed to numerous monographs and exhibition catalogues. Shinkle is co-editor of C4 Journal, a platform dedicated to writing about photography. DIANA WEIS (1974) studied dramatics, German, and communication science. Besides her professorship for fashion journalism, she writes on fashion theoretical issues and the sociology of the body. Her book Modebilder (Fashion Images) was published in 2020.
