Biographie de Tom Masters

Tom Masters. Tom first came to St Petersburg as a student in 1996 after three months spent in the wilds of provincial Russia learning the intricacies of the Russian language. Despite initially preferring Moscow, St Petersburg slowly weaved its Gogolian magie and after completing his degree at the University of London's School of Slavonic and East European Studies, Tom moved to St Petersburg to work at the St Petersburg Times in 2000.
During this time his assignments included travelling around the Baltic Sea with Greenpeace, finding a homeless man to write a newspaper column and visiting as many of the city's bars and clubs as possible, all selflessly in the narre of research. While now living back in London, where he works as a travel writer and journalist, he goes back for work and pleasure as much as he can.
