Résumé

Dedicating a monument to an eminent member of a Cambridge college should be a simple matter, but plans for a statue honouring Sir Percival Biggs-Brookby are far from set in stone. Despite a commission already being in place, Sir Percival's meddling daughter is determined to enlist her own sculptor. It's convenient for her, then, when the university's chosen candidate is found dead ... Professor Cedric Dillworthy, accompanied by his long-time friend Felix Smythe, are in Cambridge to help with the preparations.
Unbeknownst to them, Rosy Gilchrist is also there, attending a function of her own. When another body is discovered, the three will find themselves unwilling accomplices as they try to stop a killer.
