The three cycles of "The Worlds of Aldebaran" undoubtedly make up one of the most captivating science-fiction serries of recent years. The author tells of humanity's first attempts to colonise distant planets. We follow Kim Keller's trials first on Aldebaran, then on Betelgeuse and Antares. Along the way she faces many an adventure and challenge, comes across strange creatures and majestic landscapes, confronts dangers from unknown worlds and witnesses the damage caused by mankind's insanity.
That fantastic, humanist epic now expands with a parallel series: The Survivors (quantum anomalies). We meet a new heroine, Marie, and a group of 11 other survivors of the accident that destroyed their Aldebaran-bound ship. Onboard a small shuttle, they make it to an unknown planet located at a crossroads of space lanes.
