Résumé

Voice and Data Security fills a void in the network security book market by providing clear coverage of issues to which security professionals must respond with the increased convergence of data and telephone networks. Voice and data network convergence is rapidly becoming the norm in modern high speed, high bandwidth networks. While this has been going on for years, with the introduction of Voice over IP (VoIP) and Voice over Networks (VON) the movement is steadily accelerating. It professionals are waking up to the security implications of the new networks, but many lack the training and experience to adequately address these concerns. This book reveals the aspects of telephone and network security that individuals will need to know to build successful and effective voice and data networks.
