Résumé

From the teachnigs of the world-renowned spiritual leader, His Holiness The Dalai Lama, comes this practical, seven-step guide on how to develop your love foe others and transform each and every one of your relationships. Filled with personal anecdotes and the Dalai Lama's customary warmth and wisdom, Widening The Circle of Love offers a simple and illuminating programme for changing self-centredness into outwardly directed concern. Basing his views on the human capacity to improve, and drawing on exercises and techniques refined in Tibetan monasteries for more than a thousand years, the Dalai Lama's teachings are supremely relevant to our lives today, and will ultimately lead to harmony in the world around us.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Dalaï-Lama

His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, was born in 1935 to a peasant family in northeastern Tibet. The world's foremost Buddhist leader, he travels extensively, speaking eloquently in favour of ecumenical understanding, kindness and compassion, respect for the environment and, above all, world peace. Jeffrey Hopkins, Ph.D., served for a decade as the interpreter to the Dalai Lama. A Buddhist scholar and the author of more than twenty-five books, he is professor of Tibetan and Buddhist studies at the University of Virginia.
