Wilhem Wundt is widely recognized as a founder of modern experimental psychology. One of his many contributions was to help establish the Leipzig Institute for Experimental Psychology - the first graduate program in the field - in 1879, the centennial celebration of which resulted in a number of studies including Wilhelm Wundt and the Making of a Scientific Psychology. In an extensive revision of this important book, published by Plenum in 1980, a distinguished roster of contributors reconsider this much heralded "founding father" of modern psychology.
