Résumé

It is the eve of the third millennium, and the ancient house of Wrokeby is hosting a masked bail. However, among the guests walks a witch, seeking power and revenge. Dana Walgrim collapses into a mysterious coma. Her brother, Lucas, learns of a similar case, and tracks down the patient : Fernanda Capel. Fern has now laid aside her Gift, but when they meet she is convinced that Lucas is another of Prospero's Children. Intrigued, she decides to help him Bave his sister. But the new occupant of Wrokeby is an old adversary, and Fern discovers that not everyone is to be trusted. Perhaps this time, she will find herself engaged in a battle she cannot win. Witch's Honour concludes the lyrical, richly atmospheric and enthralling tale begun in Prospero's Children and continued in The Dragon-Charmer. Spellbinding in its depiction of places both familiar and strange, it is classic English fantasy at its finest.
