À propos des auteurs

Jean-Christophe Derrien was born in France in 1971. Though he got a master's degree in cinema, he holds a deep passion for comics that led him to become editor-in-chief of a fanzine, the "Rainbow Warrior." As a scriptwriter, he contributed to animated projects such as "Blake et Mortimer, " "Spirou, " "Bob Morane, " "Kong, " "Xcalibur, " "Capitaine Fracasse, " "Frog et Fou Furet, " and "Skyland." But he also turned to comics to write more personal stories like "Time Twins" (Le Lombard) and "Miss Endicott" (Le Lombard; Europe Comics/Cinebook in English), or to take part in collaborative works such as "Résistances" with Claude Plumail (Le Lombard) and "Poker" with Simon Van Liendt (Le Lombard). Xavier Fourquemin was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, and moved around France for school until finally landing at a fine arts institute in Tournai (Belgium).
There he would develop his signature style, offering comic realism with a touch of horror. He would remain in Belgium following graduation, quickly gaining experience with the medieval series "Alban" (published by Soleil), alongside scriptwriter Dieter, and the western "Outlaw" (Glénat), which brought the pair back together again. Later, Fourquemin would join the ranks of Le Lombard with "Miss Endicott, " a rich two-part series for the Signé collection (Europe Comics/Cinebook in English), followed by the folklore fantasy series "La légende du changeling" ("The Legend of the Changeling, " Europe Comics), with author Pierre Dubois.
