The Delaneys are fixtures in their community. The parents, Stan and Joy, are the envy of all their friends. They're killers on the tennis court, and off it their chemistry is palpable. After fifty years of marriage, they've finally sold their famed tennis academy and are ready for their golden years. So why are they so miserable ? The four Delaney children were tennis stars in their own right as kids, yet none of them had what it took to go all the way.
But that's okay, now that they're all successful grown-ups. Mostly. When a stranger named Savannah knocks on Stan and Joy's door, bleeding after a fight with her boyfriend, they're more than happy to give her the small kindness she sorely needs. If only that was all she wanted. Later, when Joy goes missing and Savannah has disappeared, the police turn to the person who remains : Stan. For someone who claims to be innocent, he seems to have a lot to hide.
Two kids think their father is guiltless, two aren't so sure - as the two sides square off in perhaps their biggest match, all of the Delaneys will start to see their family history in a very new light.
